TV Control Room



Studio Control Room (SCR) / Production Control Room (PCR) / Gallery: is a place in a TV studio, in which the arrangement of an outgoing program (live or recorded) takes place.
Facilities in a PCR include:
-       Video monitors: wall, with monitors for program, preview, VTRs, cameras, graphics and other video sources.
-       Vision mixer: used to select the multiple-camera setup and other various sources to be recorded or seen on air.
-       Audio mixer: for leveling and sweetening live audio.
-       Camera control unit (CCU): for powering the cameras, remotely.
-       Character Generator (CG): creates names and graphics, inserted into the lower third part of the TV screen
-       Digital video effects (DVE): for manipulation of video sources.
-       Waveform monitors: to show the level of video brightness and color. 
-       Intercom (Talk-back): for communication with guests and TV crew.
-       A library store: for storage of graphics, images, and videos.
